Saint Pablo

I recently got into the Narcos TV show, so I sketched Pablo Escobar as Saint Sebastian, 

the Christian martyr often depicted in secular paintings of the Renaissance.

Take A Dip

The aim here was to work quickly, having no idea what I'd make going in. I decided on a limited palette, first drawing then layering colors. 

Acrylic on watercolor paper dries and absorbs very quickly, so it's easy to complete a painting in under and hour.
